Peter Colthup 5 Miles Road Handicap
The Mentone Venue hosted the 14th Annual PETER COLTHUP 5 Miles Road Handicap on Wednesday April 30 at Dolamore Reserve, Mentone. The race, which is open to all VMA athletes, marks the tremendous contribution that Peter Colthup has made to Victorian Masters Athletics.

The magnificently crafted perpetual trophy
carved by Louis Waser, was presented to the winner, James O'Brien, by Peter Colthup. James also won the medal for Fastest Male, M40+. Russell Johnston has competed in all 14 races for several hard-earned fastest-male awards - but this is his first placing. Excellent handicapping saw the first eight runners on the last lap (400m on the track) together.
