Prince Henry’s Institute at Monash Medical Centre is studying the health of middle aged and older men to see how good it can be. They invite you to join their HEALTHY MAN STUDY! (5 visits over 3 months, physical examination, questionnaires and blood tests, no treatment).

About Our Mentone Venue

To Start:  Contact us [detail at left] or just turn up any Wednesday evening. There is no charge for
         the initial visit or two.

Where:    Dolamore Reserve, cnr First Street & Queen Street, Mentone [Melway map - 87 B6] or use          the >> map view [then click the 'Hybrid' tab above the map, for detail].

When:     Every Wednesday evening, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Saturday walkers start at 2:30pm.

Everyone, from beginner to elite, is welcome. Events are conducted for walkers [400m to 5km] and runners - sprint, middle distance and distance [50m to 10km] each evening. We frequently run handicap or estimated-time events.

Come along and enjoy yourself – jogging, running, or walking – for fitness or fun.

Frank Kealy Trophy - 2008

Competition for the 2008 Frank Kealy Trophy was conducted over three weeks of handicap walks:  2000m, 2400m and 2800m. Trophies for the first three placegetters, on aggregate, were presented by Frank Kealy at Mentone on Wednesday evening, 19th November 2008.

Mentone at The Legends Relay - Caulfield Venue

Mentone Teams took home the overall trophy from the Legends Relay evening held at Caulfield on 11 November 2008. Our Open and Over 60s teams won their categories with some great individual performances. Thanks to Caulfield for hosting a very enjoyable and rewarding event, and special thanks to Sonya for organising our teams and for her unexpected participation.
